A very short introduction

 

Patrizia Sterpone

 

She is an architect (degree received from Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza") mainly involved in architectural design.

 

She earned her Master of Landscape Architecture at the Università degli Studi della Tuscia, and in December 2006 she finished another Master in Interior Yacht Design at the Istituto Europeo of Design (IED).

 

Both landscape design and boat design bear on dynamically evolving elements. Engineering a natural environment just as engineering a boat is about connecting to continually changing interrelated systems.

 

In November 2007 her design for a 24m sloop rigged sailing yacht - the final project for the IED Master - won the Architecture section of the “Premio Mare, dall’emozione all’immagine” competition.
